You can apply for a document to travel out of the UK if you can’t use or get a passport from your own country or embassy in the UK is not in existence.

Eligibility

You must be living in the UK for any of the following reasons:

• Have permissionto stay as a refugee or stateless person
• you have been granted humanitarian protection for a limited time after rejection of asylum application
• you have been granted discretionary leave for a limited time after rejection of asylum application
• If you do not have British Passport and hold ‘indefinite leave to remain’

You will need to provide evidence that even after formally applying for a passport,authorities in your country has unreasonably refused the same.

You will need to submit all the evidence as originals while making the application.
