Fianancial requirement for spouse visa will be £29,000 in Spring 2024 and will be increased to £38,700 by 2025

It appears that the Home Office has now decided to make the new salary as £29000 from Spring 2024.

It is likely that similar figure will be seen on the skilled worker visas.

For the family visas it will still be a huge increase from £18600 to £29000. It may tear alot of families apart who already find it difficult to meet the requirements under Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules.

It is prohected that the salary will be increased in stages and will likely be £38000 or above by 2025.

With the upcoming election in 2024 it is unclear what lies in the future becuse the figures are likely to change again if the United Kingdom would have a new Prime Minister.
